Ms. Howard (A-J)
Welcome to the AEW family!
I have been at AE Wright Middle School for 14 years and I love our wonderful staff and students. I have been a School Counselor in LVUSD for 16 years. Before coming to the district I was an Outpatient Therapist for adolescents for 4 years.
I graduated from Willamette University with a bachelors degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. I later attended the University of Southern California for my Masters in Social Work and my PPS Credential for PSA and PSW (for Schools). After Completing the requirements to be a LCSW, I returned to school at Phillip Graduate Institute to get an additional PPS Credential in School Counseling.
I love my job! Working with middle schoolers while they are on the roller coaster of growing and developing socially and emotionally and helping them navigate the changes successfully is my favorite part of each day.
Outside of work, I go on adventures with my 6 year old daughter, Emily. I love to travel, scuba dive, kayak, run, bike and camp.
I look forward to getting to know all of my AEW families!
Mrs. Hollingsworth (K-M)
This is my 3rd year at AE Wright and I couldn't be more excited to get to know my new students and see everyone from before. This will be my 9th year as a school counselor and my favorite thing about my job is working with children and helping make a difference in their lives.
I studied Psychology and Child Development for my undergraduate degree at Chico State and earned my masters in School Counseling at Cal Lutheran University.
My favorite things to do are hiking, water skiing, snowboarding, traveling, cooking, and baking.
I have two children, Jace who is 2 years old and Reid who will be 1 in May.
Mrs. Latty (N-Z)
I am happy to be at AE Wright Middle School. I have been a Counselor for LVUSD for l5 years. I spent 3 years at Calabasas High School before moving to Agoura High School. Last year I was at Willow Elementary. I love my job as a school counselor and look forward to helping you however I can.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I got my Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance at California Lutheran University in 2005. Before that, I worked in a family business and was a stay-at-home mom and school volunteer for my 2 boys and 2 girls. I was inspired by a counselor at my children’s school to pursue a career as a school counselor.
Currently, I live close by AEW with my youngest daughter. My favorite activities are hiking, visiting the beach, and my book club. I love to travel during the summer and visit my son in Berlin and my oldest daughter and granddaughter in Dublin.
Be sure to visit me in the counseling office. I look forward to meeting you.
The 2022-2023 school year will be my first year as a full-time wellness counselor at AE Wright! I am excited to get to know all the staff and students. I look forward to the opportunity to provide all the support I can and be part of such a wonderful team!
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University of Fullerton and earned my Master's Degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling, baking and being outdoors.
Please email or stop by my office (located in the counseling office) whenever you need anything! Have a great school year!

(On Campus Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
When I joined LVUSD as a school psychologist in Spring 2022, I had the good fortune of
being assigned to AE Wright Middle School. I am thrilled to continue serving this amazing
community of students and families! Although school psychologists wear many hats, at the
end of the day my job is supporting student success. What I like best about being a school
psychologist is the privilege of getting to know the unique strengths and needs of each of my
students, problem solving, and being a source of positive change. I’m honored to be part of
the dedicated team of educators at AE Wright and look forward to a successful year for our
As a second career psychologist, I’m relatively new to the field. Before joining LVUSD, I
worked with students in grades K-8 as a school psychologist at Hueneme Elementary School
District for a year and a half. Prior to that I completed my year-long internship at Santa
Monica Malibu Unified School District (K-12) and St. Monica Elementary School (TK-8). I
did my graduate training at Loyola Marymount University where I earned a Master’s in
Educational Psychology in May 2019 and my Education Specialist and Pupil Personnel
Services (PPS) Credential in May 2020. Previously in my first career, I received an MBA
from Claremont Graduate University, held leadership positions in corporate marketing and
management consulting, and taught college classes at San Francisco State University.
In my free time I enjoy learning about all kinds of things, spending time with people who
make me smile, fitness, and travel.
Counseling Secretary/Registrar/Communications Coordinator
Hi! My name is Mary-Ellen Lykken and I am the registrar/communications coordinator at AE Wright. I enjoy spending time with my two sons, Tyler and Spencer, and my little dog, Penny. After work you can find me on the pickleball courts or outside enjoying the many beautiful hiking trails in the Conejo Valley. At home, I'm either gardening, reading or planning my next adventure.
